1st Week of Advent - Live in Expectation

Keep awake, therefore,
for you do not know on what day
your Lord coming.
But understand this:
if the owner of the house had know in what part
of the night the thief was coming,
the owner would have stayed awake,
and would not have let the house be broken into.
Therefore you also my be ready,
for God's future Ruler and Judge
is coming at an unexpected hour.
